something new. something different.
we have soft opened.
latest from our owner, Brice [may update]:
things have been amazing friends! we really believe this is becoming the coffee spot for people who deeply care about speciality coffee and for those of us in the industry who just need our “go to” spot. it has been really hard to communicate to people who misread and misunderstand the value of what we are offering on the menu. we need the support and the industry to rally around us and spread the word that we are here.
we did our “soft open” month in april and we learned so much, and has really been a lot of fun…everyone has been so kind and supportive (especially those who see what we are trying to bring to Seattle). the amount of 5-star reviews blew our minds too.
we are loving our partnerships with H&S and Prodigal. we have also featured coffees from Airworks like Terraform and Big Sur, and coming up we have more selections from September and Regalia.
and, Airworks is also looking to do some tastings in our space very soon too.
so, for the curious, you are likely asking what is this? this is something new and something different than what seattle currently has in its coffee scene, and though we know many will be disappointed that we do not have drip coffee or larger sizes or mocha or even cream and sugar, that is okay…basically, nothing is over 300g and we believe this is about taste, not consumption; enjoyment, not nourishment, fun and creativity, not survival.
one last thing…May is our “Neighborhood Month” so, this is a month set aside for our most loyal customers and biggest supporters to finally enjoy what has been a 10-year dream in the making
our vision is this: we will make no apologies if we seem pretentious. in the space we are curating coffee is an art form. come taste a colorful spectrum of flavors, aromatics, and acidities called into existence through the craft of the extraordinary roasters we feature from around the world.
welcome to seattle. where supurb coffee is here to stay.
